Which file format should I purchase?

If you plan on reading your ebook on your portable device, we recommend you purchase the EPUB format. This will work best when you transferring your eBook file between your computer and your portable reading device.

Which devices can I use to read an EPUB or PDF eBook that I purchase from Starlandbooks.com?

Can I read EPUB or PDF books on my Amazon Kindle?

Unfortunately, EPUB and PDF books are not currently compatible with the Amazon Kindle. The Amazon Kindle uses a proprietary file format that can only be purchased from Amazon and not another eBook retailer.

How do I read an eBook on my IPad, IPhone, or IPod Touch?

You can purchase an eBook directly from our website and download it to your IOS device by installing an app such as the Bluefire reader, available for free from the App Store. You may need to authorize your app to an Adobe account id. You can do this at http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/.

How do I read an eBook on my Android smartphone or Tablet?

You can purchase an eBook directly from our website and download it to your Android device by installing an app such as the Bluefire reader or Aldiko reader. These apps are available for free from the Android Market. You may need to authorize your app to an Adobe account id. You can do this at http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/.
